Gender Pay Gap 2022-2023

The government requires companies with over 250 staff to report the averages for men and women’s pay and compare it, to highlight inequality with the aim of rectifying discrepancies.

Deeland Ltd t/a ServiceMaster Clean records our staff pay data annually to identify the average pay of men and women and look at the % gap.

ServiceMaster Clean employs almost twice as many women than men, including more female managers. The gender pay gap is very small and fluctuates slightly each year and showed 2.02% mean in 2022. The company gender pay gap is well below the UK norm.

Our organisation continues to monitor and address the pay of staff based on gender. We have varied working hours in many of our roles which fit with family arrangements, and staff are encouraged to seek internal promotions.

Full time driving roles attract more male applicants, so we will aim to expand our resourcing avenues with a view to addressing this.

With our clients we work to establish rates that provide fair and equitable pay.   In line with the Equal Pay Act, there is no difference in the pay for men and women in the same or similar roles.
